So, I just got off the phone with my male best friend (MBF). I saw he'd written a new poem and posted it on Facebook (FB), so naturally I clicked the "Like" button and commenced an instant message chat with him. I told said MBF that it was nice and he promptly replied, "Thanks, you should hear me do it LOL." As soon as I typed in "You're welcome LOL" he was calling my phone. I answered and we talked for a good fifteen minutes, talking about everything and nothing; poetry, school, family, and life. I told him my favorite line in his new piece and that he should write his next one titled "One Last Time." I paused, then said that we should collaborate, and maybe even bring Kernell into the mix. That's definitely going to be a good piece.
I'm on Fall Break, and it's been wonderful. I am glad I didn't go home but I haven't done much studying. I hope that will change tomorrow because I need to study. I'm trying to get A's and B's this semester, but with the overwhelming amount of work I'm doing it's semi-difficult. And I realize that I am not even at the hard part. Oh well....
I'm about to get my stuff and leave. Too bad it's cold and 1:40am. A female walking alone on a deserted college campus isn't a good idea. My friend is lying on her couch knocked out and snoring, and although I could just make myself comfortable somewhere, there are two cats in this apartment. I don't like cats. Nope, not at all. She's gonna have to wake her behind up. My ass has fallen asleep and is somewhere in dreamland, my eyes are as dry as sandpaper, and I just want to shower and go to sleep.
Sigh.
